What happened on her wedding day
She is a bride to be, a beautiful daughter she was to her parents, a true friend she was to her friends and a good sister she was to her siblings. She fought so hard to be disciplined and an inspiration to her younger ones as the eldest of 7 children. In church she won over the hearts of all and sundry and at home she paraded the village proudly and was the talk of the town. The villagers asked questions upon questions about her identity and surprisingly there questions were the same. "whose child is she?, they asked" . there happiness knew no bound when they found out who her parents were. "she really came from a good family, the women said staring at each other. "I know her father, one said, and "I know her mother, the other added. "My son will marry her, the eldest woman said. "I met her first, another replied and I called her first, the last woman said. Before she knew it the women were already fighting over whom her son will marry her. they were all from wealthy families but the truth is that she found it difficult to decide whose son to accept. Maybe you all should call out your sons for her to choose which will be her groom, a woman said from behind referring to the women.
A week later she choose her groom and the wedding date was set.
At her white wedding, She was dressed with the best wedding dress in town, and on her traditional wedding she was adored with the finest jewelries and best plain George material. Dancers from her church, work, and village were all invited to perform and the best classical singers were brought from Britain to perform In her ceremony. she rode In the newest designer cars to church and back to her reception hall which was decorated by world renowned event decorators.
Food and wine was in surplus for the visitors to eat, drink and fill there stomach. Expensive gifts were passed on to the visitors, and vise versa. The bride walked through the aisle looking stunning and lavishing; her makeup was handled by a top class american makeup artist. Her husband stared at her proudly as he bent down on the floor crying and wandering what good he did in his past life that made God to present to him a lovely jewel as a bride.
The visitors watched as the wedding ceremony proceeded. The pastor asked them the "do you questions and they both answered with " I do. I could see in there faces smiles of happiness and joy and i couldn't stop crying and smiling at the same time.
